Once you become fully connected at SkyPointe, the next logical step is to begin “Serving”. Some have asked, “What does serving mean? What will I have to do, and what type of commitment am I looking at?”
First, at SkyPointe, we don’t view “Serving” as many other organizations do. For SkyPointe, “Serving” is all about us giving back a portion of our time to honor all that God has done, is doing, and will do in our lives. For members of SkyPointe, “Serving” is simply the product that comes out of our love relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
“Serving” is all about “doing for others”.
Not sure where you need to plug-in? That’s the fun part. We have so many areas here at SkyPointe, that the ultimate decision will be to determine which will be your favorite and which one pulls on your heartstrings the most! We minister to children, youth, adults, the community as well as a whole host of others on a weekly basis. Most of our volunteer opportunities are scheduled on a rotating basis so no one group of people or individuals are to serve week in and week out, unless of course you want too!
Our serving teams here at SkyPointe are made up of folks from all walks of life. Some are youth, Some are adults, Some are retired and some are 9 to Fiver’s. You see, it really doesn’t matter your station in life, God has a place He wants to use you.
If you’re ready to take that next step and get connected with a team that serves our members and guests, take a moment to fill out one of our Connection Cards on Sunday to let us know of your desire to serve or simply contact us via email and we’ll be more than happy to help you make the transition into a “Servant of God”.
